NOW OFFERING GRASTON TECHNIQUE-
This is a new treatment to help decrease pain and increase function of injured areas. The Graston Technique is good for treating injuries of a chronic and/or repetitive nature. The stainless steel instruments are used to glide along a muscle to the areas of the adhesions and act like a "scar tissue" stethoscope. When knots or bands of scar tissue are encountered, both the doctor and the patient sense a restriction or a granular feeling. The Graston Technique allows for the adhesions to be broken up allowing muscles, tendons or ligaments to respond with a greater range of motion. The Graston Technique shows its greatest benefit when it is coupled with the chiropractic adjustment to offer a speedy recovery and for the patient.
